Hi I’m Megan!

My job brings me absolute joy. Having the opportunity to create and capture moments is a great privilege I won’t take for granted.

When I was young my dad had an old antique film camera in his office, and he would tell me stories about taking photos. My favorite part of the stories was how he made his own DIY darkroom in a closet. I was fascinated, and from that point forward I knew deep down this is what I wanted to do with my life. I chose the role of being a photographer knowing I get to create and bring joy into others lives.

I also work for another photography company in Des Moines, Ivory House Photography. There I am the Primary Photographer and Production Manager! Through that job I mostly photograph Families, Seniors, and Newborns.

Outside of photography, you can find me enjoying my time with my husband Tim, my daughter Emerson and our dog River.

My true passion in life is to be open and create! Thank you all for giving me the space to do so!
